Rain

It's strange, sitting here on the couch of my living room...

listening to the rain

pitter patter on the windows outside

rain.

it's such an incredible thing

to hear thunder

and see lightning

and the whole world gets a drink of water

rain makes us all feel more thoughtful

and hopeful because we know

the world is still turning
